Dimitri Podborski received his MS degree in computer engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany, in 2016. Since 2012, he has been with the Multimedia Communications Group, Video Coding and Analytics Department, Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute. Dimitri has 7+ years of experience in the multimedia field and led the software development of VR360 (MPEG-OMAF) solutions at Fraunhofer HHI implementing several systems components such as multiplexers/demultiplexers, segmenters for DASH and HLS as well as native and web-based players. In addition, he is an active participant in standardization activities such as 3GPP and MPEG and is a contributor to the ISO Base Media File Format reference software.
