Philip Weber received the BSc degree in Computer Science from Loughborough University, UK, in 1994, and the MSc in Advanced Computer Science and PhD in Computer Science degrees from Birmingham University, UK, in 2009 and 2014. His doctoral research produced a machine learning framework for the analysis and comparison of Business Process Mining Algorihms. Since 2013 he
has worked on the Speech Recognition by Synthesis project at Birmingham University, UK. Philip has previously worked in industry designing, analysing and implementing information systems, and in systems administration. His research interests include Speech modelling and recognition, machine learning, process mining and information management.
