Deepak Mishra received the B.Tech. Degree in electronics and communication engineering from the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India, in 2012, and a PhD degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Delhi, New Delhi, in 2017. He is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney, Australia, where he joined as a Senior Research Associate in August 2019. Before that, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Electrical Engineering (ISY), Linköping University (LiU), Linköping, Sweden, from August 2017 to July 2019. He has also been a Visiting Researcher at the Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA, Huawei Technologies, Paris, France, and Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China. His current research interests include energy harvesting cooperative communication networks, massive MIMO, backscattering, physical layer security, as well as signal processing and energy optimization schemes for the uninterrupted operation of wireless networks. He is an Associate Editor of IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON GREEN COMMUNICATIONS AND NETWORKING, IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INTELLIGENT VEHICLES, IEEE WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS LETTERS, IEEE ACCESS, and Communication Theory Track of Frontiers in Communications and Networks journal. He is a Guest Editor for the Special Issue of Energies and Frontiers in Communications and Networks journals. He was also a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member for the top international conferences like IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) from 2018 to 2024, IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM) from 2021 to 2024, IEEE International Conference on Computer Communication (INFOCOM) in 2023, IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference in 2023 to 2025, IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC Spring and VTC Fall) from 2021 to 2024, and IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC) in 2024. He was a recipient of the IBM PhD. Fellowship Award in 2016, the Raman Charpak Fellowship Award in 2017, the Endeavour Research Fellowship Award in 2018, and the Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) in 2022. He was named a Best Editor for IEEE WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS LETTERS in 2023 and was selected as an Exemplary Reviewer of IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS in 2017 and 2018, of IEEE WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS LETTERS in 2019, and of IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON COMMUNICATIONS in 2019 and 2020.
